More and more businesses are doing business in Memphis. The city appeared in the top ten of the 50 best major metro areas in the U.S. for starting and growing a business, according to Inc. magazine, in 2005.
Expansion Management Magazine ranked Memphis 16th in their "America's 50 Hottest Cities" in January 2005. Ebony Magazine just cited Memphis as a city as one of the "10 Best Cities for Black Women" based on lifestyle, safety, culture, and outlook.
